My goals in life, to grow and be
Inspired by what I have yet to see
To wake up every morning
Knowing my day is won
Giving into the innocence
And smile like the sun

To be the best I can become
Accepting what I cannot change
Happiness, not luxury
Flying free of my range

My joy in life, to grin and tell
A story yet unheard
Don’t stand around that wishing well
Step out and experience you word

I hope I earn a tear
When my time is given up
Since its my desire to look at life
With a half full cup.
I understand the sadness
