Why are the most beautiful things always temporary?

Like a sunset or a story that tells of a fairy.

These worlds fade away at the turn of a page.

I wish I could quickly lock them up in a cage.

But no such luck since the turn of the century.

Things have changed since the twenty first's entry.

Earlier people would laugh and cry together for a long long while.

Today you can hardly catch a smile.

Mabey it is better that way.

Mabey the smile just can't stay.

It probably has things to do.

But can't the smile stay a few?

I'll capture it in my cage for goodness sake!

It's beauty for myself I shall take!

Then it finaly will be proven fake
