"It takes a second to say I love you but a lifetime to show it" " Love is like the air we breath. It may not always be seen, but it is always felt, used, and needed"

The road is open
The world is free
The wind in my hair
The fresh smell of country air

No cars on the road
Only me and my dirt bike
The view is unbelievable
But better to live there

Cows and horses
Farms and ranches
Lucky to live there
But cool to see

Speeding down the road
Looking at hard work
Shifting into fifth gear
There is no stopping
The country roads

Houses and apartments
All for city slickers
Farms and ranches
All for cowboys like me

I wrote this poem on October 28, 2010. I used to live on a ranch with my mom and step dad. We lived in a old farm house with beautiful land. The people were nice and you didn’t have to worry about a lot of noise. It was a great experience to live in the country. I hope you enjoy this poem.
