Black and White
I will see the world in black and white
And I will finally know what it's like
To be without the things I need
The simple things that I can't see
I'm seeing the world in black and white
And now I know what it's like
To live without what's taken for granted
I've seen enough of a world so slanted
I've seen the world in black and white
Knowing there was no color without light
My eyes were open, but I've never seen
A world whose truths surpassed my needs
A corner piece in the spectrum of color
Can light the all the blues, but no other
If light never ends, then why are we sad?
In us, there's a celebration to be had
