Awaiting Accord

A tear drop.
Rain splattered
On the deck.
The miseries dissolved
Or washed away,
Flowing into streams of lost dreams
And forbidden love;
Meandering blindly
In the intricate depths
Of our subconscious.
A deluge engulfs the mind,
Sinking any reason and
Covering up all desire,
To leave a full, fuddled mind.
To let the organ
That expels and impels
The bluish fluid,
Languidly coursing our bodies.
The heart will speak,
Cry and break;
But mending will be done,
Once the flood ebbs
And the two can work in unison.
Till the heart’s lustful want,
Minds the brain’s intellectual wits.
