* More than we rely on other people, we rely on other peoples ignorance.
*Just a little thank you, to all the morons that led me to learning to write well; you are the razors of the pen that draws the blood I write with. I owe it all to your mistakes.

The clock flicks off the seconds as we sit in sinking sand
Never moving forward but still standing, hand in hand
So we watch with wayward glances as tomorrow takes today
And we count the stars that light the night, so very far away

And nothing stands between us but a title and a fear
So I whisper “just know that I know,” gently into your ear
But I can’t decide which way to see, which way is more naive
To believe that you‘re never wrong or believe what I see

So I tell you not to worry, and I look you in the eyes
And your eyes lock on my heart and I can see your soul inside
You are wrong to say that you are just a waste of all my time
For my heart will always beat for you, even if you’re not mine

For you are breaking down my walls, melting all my defenses
And with every touch you give me, you electrify my senses
With every second that passes I fall deeper every day
And the more I get to know you; I love you in every way

So I think of you and dream of you and give you all you need
For while I might have never have you, you’ve always had all of me
And every word that I say to you, is everlasting, true
Because there’s nothing I’d rather do than waste my time with you
