Come and Go

sweet spring rain
warm summer nights
crackling fires
Christmas lights
seasons come
seasons go
the budding leaves
the falling snow
life goes on
and we follow
the budding leaves
the falling snow.
The house next door
my bestest friend
Eventually their stays
here all end.
Teachers and students
my greatest love
but they do not
journey to the above
only far across
our wide, lonely world
leaving me here
my eyelashes furled
in an everlasting cry
for the ones I've let go
the budding leaves
the falling snow.
I've watched so many
drive away.
None that come
will get to stay.
(Those that do
I don't like anyway.)
Seasons come
seasons go
the budding leaves
the falling snow.
I've watched my friends
all leave me here
and I am stuck
year after year
Watching my loved ones
Drift away
Year after year
Day after day.
Seasons come
Seasons go
I watch them come
I watch them go
the budding leaves
the falling snow
they leave me here
I don't want him to go.
Seasons come
Seasons go
the budding leaves
the falling snow.

It sounds whiny and tragic heroine-y and Tasha-like. It's all right for a site where nobody but you and R. know me, but at school things are different. I don't want anyone to think I'm whining.
