The sound of rain
So wonderful
Peaceful
Magnificent
The sound of rain
So calming
Relaxing
Enjoyable
You can almost feel it
Dropping on your skin
Listen to it drop
On everything so thin

You close you eyes
You are in a rain forest
You open your heart
And your imagination flows

The sound of rain
I know it
I hear it in my room
The sound of rain
I know it
The lovely, soft tune

The author's comments:
I was sitting on my bed, and my window was open. all of a sudden it started to rain. I absolutely love listening to the rain. This was my very first poem. I don't know what made me write it, i just started putting words down, and before i knew it, i had a lovely poem...my first poem :)
