Lyrical
I want my words to sing you to sleep
But I can't find a clear enough tune
I want my verse to serenade you sweet
But I wont give away my emotions so soon
I wish for my words to float on the air
And land softly on your skin
I wish for the meaning to sink in so deep
That it feels both a gift and a sin
I ask for my words to move you to tears
And bring on the fierceness of anger
And also give you the comfort of joy
Even when times of stress may linger
I pray for my words to give up you fear
And place in it's abscence, pure hope
Then I pray for my words to mend your cold heart
And lend you the strength to cope
