When I Think of You

By
When I think of you, I think of watching the sun set on a grassy hilltop, illuminated only by the silent passing of two beings in the dark.
When I think of you, I think of lighting candles near abandoned graves, and watching the smoke drift lazily through the quiet space between two stars.
I think of browning from the light that manifests as we dance in the rain.
I think of waiting for a frog to jump in a dried out pond by the roaring sea.
I think of all the snowy days and wonder how brittle matches can hold such lace.
I think of showers and flowers and cowards and powers, and fires and fliers and diers and liars.
I wonder why the rain comes and the sun sets for two jesters such as us.
When I think of you, I think of peace.
