Two cookies looking so good,
And sorry I could not eat both
On my one-cookie-only-diet, I stood,
I looked at them both as long as I could,
To where it made my stomach loath

I finally chose the bigger one,
And having perhaps made the better claim
Because it was sweet and I loved it a ton,
Then I lay out in the sun,
And realized they were probably both the same

In about 5 minutes I wanted the other
For it looked good too,
But I couldn’t tell my mother,
Because we are both in on this diet together,
Is she asks ill just say she is going coo-coo

I shall be telling this with a sigh
For I ate both cookies stat,
I had tried to lie
But she just made me cry,
By saying I’d get fat
