Feathers float on air Watching the world beneath them They swish and twirl without a care Waiting to touch the ground Yet the thought saddens them For they know when they reach the bottom The journey is over and Their life is ended Trampled, crushed, and burned Fallen feathers know their future But when falling Joy breathes into them Peace for tomorrow And gratitude for today Come, watch how falling feathers fly
