Situations Like
The stadium lights are bright,
All sounds of the crowd are muffled.
It’s now or never,
Fourth and inches.
Situations like this defines a team.
Waiting in my stance feels like a lifetime,
The sound of the quarterbacks cadence is music to my ears.
I get off the ball as fast as I can,
Those extra sprints paid off.
Like a missel at it’s target, I hit him full speed.
In situations like this,
Some come up short,
But others are victorious.
