Shadow
I curse you,
 Because you reflect the truth,
Everything that I can’t bear to hear,
 But know inside is true,
And would kill to separate myself,
From all this guilt I bear like rotten fruit,
Instead of whom I dream to be,
 I have this constant reminder,
Of who I truly am and always will be,
Trapped as I can’t run nor hide,
 Whilst you follow me,
And haunt me so I dare not sleep,
As I close my eyes and fight to breathe.
