finally
finally
i’m free
i don’t have to live within the walls
the walls I call home
the walls I call school
i can finally experience something
something called air
i can run a thousand miles in any direction
see the serene sky
for more than five minutes
hear the chirps and melodies of every
type of bird in the world
touch the velvet grass
and lay myself down
in its layers of green blankets
smell every type of flower
jump into an immense pile of leaves
watch the clouds form
impressive shapes
taste pure water
from a gorgeous waterfall
one thing saddens me
how did I get here?
i had to die
