The girl they fall for: her absence of love. (Based on The Great Gatsby)
Daisy’s murmur was only to make people lean toward her; an irrelevant criticism that made it no less charming.
Her voice sang:
That was a way she had.
Charming, discontented face.
Frightened but graceful.
I enjoyed looking at her,
Her glowing face.
Stirring warmth flowed from her.
Her warm human magic upon the air
The G O L D E N girl.
She should go to tom and say: I never loved you.
She’s never loved you, she loves me.
She never loved anyone except me.
Daisy loved me when she married me and she loves me now.
Her frightened eyes told that whatever intentions, whatever courage she had, were definitely gone.
Never had before and would never have again.
