I Hear America Crying
“I Hear American Crying”
This war is causing much opposition.
Innocent men and women are dying each day.
They are supposed to be fighting for freedom.
But is any freedom being gained?
The questions most Americans ask is...
Is this war really necessary?
Some say the war is unneeded.
Others say it is very called for.
Some think we should just pack up and leave.
Others think we will be there for another one hundred years.
But what is actually going to help us?
To some we would be worse of either way.
If we leave we admit defeat.
So is America able to risk its pride?
But we would also save the lives of many innocent soldiers.
So we are stuck inside a catch 22.
Should we stay or should we go?
