My Name is Cocaine

By
Fear me. I am here. I will make you not well.
I promise to lead you straight to hell.
People say bad things about me, which makes me glad.
That is why my main goal is to make you sad.
My first name is Coke. My last name is Kane.
I am nothing like my cousin Mary Jane.
Mary Jane is a dirty green. I am a clean white.
You will recognize me when I’m in your sight.
Once I’m in you, you will never get me out.
I will make you cry, and I will make you shout.
You can find me everywhere, I can be found all around.
I live in your school, I live in your town.
Friends you will lose, tests you will fail.
And then you’ll probably end up in jail.
You’ll lie to your mother, you’ll steal from your dad.
And the thing is you won’t even notice that they’re sad.
You’ll forget what you learned, and how you were raised.
You’ll like me a lot and do it my ways.
After you try me, you won’t feel free.
You will even regret ever meeting me.
I’ll be the master, you’ll be the slave.
I’ll follow you everywhere even to your grave.
Your actions won’t be normal, I’ll make you insane.
You’ll be running around outside in the rain.
Your will would be taken, your thoughts I’ll conceal.
I’ll give you bruises that would never heal.
Now is your chance, let’s see what you do.
Will you fall below the influence? It’s all up to you.

Some of these lines and rhymes are creative and brilliant, a few sound awkward. Some editing and these poem will be even more powerful.

Hey I just wonted to say I was once addicted to coke I was hooked for almost two years and you can get off the stuff. However what you wrote in your poem is verry true bout coke. Also though everyone starts to turn there back on you and belives that you will never change.
