A Powerful Will
As its huge limbs stood
Unmoved by the powerful wind
In a world so good
Nothing could go wrong
In a day seeming so nice
Yet not like a song
Just then the day changed
The sky became menacing
The sturdy ground waned
It became afraid
As the clouds started to appear
The light started to fade
It began to pour
The flashes of light came fast
To start the great war
Ready to destroy
They struck with tremendous force
Breaking like a toy
It chose not to quit
It hung in there with the storm
Unwilling to sit
When it was all done
There it stood with all its glory
Just under the sun
