on this lazy day,
the Brazilian sun beat down
in the middle of Guanabara Bay.
there was nothing to say
as I wore my Ray Ban crown
on this lazy day.
there wasn’t even time to pray
in the little Portuguese town
in the middle of Guanabara Bay.
I’m destined to get my way,
and eventually turn brown,
on this lazy day.
my tank top is beginning to fray,
but I prefer it to a gown
in the middle of Guanabara Bay.
the sky will never turn grey,
it will never make me frown,
on this lazy day
in the middle of Guanabara Bay.
