I DON'T UNDERSTAND...

I don't understand
why people do unexpected things.
why people don’t let surprise parties be surprises.
why people show up late.
But most of all
why decorations always have to be so hard to put up.
why confetti spreads to vastly.
why parties have to end.
why the dancing has to stop.
What I understand most is
why it’s great to have good friends.
why cake is better to eat than to make.
why color makes people happy.
why music has to be loud.
