On water I walk
Where others would drown
And these words I speak
Kindle fires deep down

They will feel his rage
As Prometheus felt the gods
And quick will be his triumph
Over the dust's weak resolve

It is the revenge he seeks
For the Maker's disregard
To shatter their peace
And leave but one shard

Their Paradise lost
In the waves of time
Only angels above
Will preserve the song's chime

I am Salvation
I am the flesh of His blood
And until you hear my words
One with the flames you will become.

The author's comments:
My friend and I were talking about religion together, and we got onto the subject of the apocalypse, mainly how it goes in Christianity. For some reason, this poem just seemed to pop into my mind. I hope that people will realize I'm not trying to push Christianity onto them with this poem, but really trying to get them to accept Jesus's teachings on subjects such as family and love, since I believe that they're all valuable lessons.
