Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and I don't live to be. But, before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean
..::*Bob Marley*::..

I remember that day so well
The day you grew your
Beautiful angel wings and flew away
The darkest day of my life

The day you laid there cold as stone,
Helpless, and already gone
I wanted you back, to make
You breathe again, whole, and alive

But I knew that i couldnt
Because you were gone and
In a better place, a paradise you might say
The best one, up in the sky

It took me 7 years to realize that
You're not gone, your right here
Standing next to me, hovering above me,
And sealed inside my heart

You're a memory that will never be forgotten
Locked away in my heart, and one day I will be with
You again and all the pain will be gone
You're my Dad, my guardian angel

The author's comments:
This poem is about my Dad who died when I was 7 years old. I have never really got over it and always find myself crying about it, so one day when Clayton Scott came to my school and had us do a poetry slam, I got inspired to write this. I was really nervous and started crying on stage because I was remembering everything about the day of my Dad's funeral. But I want to thank Clayton Scott for inspiring me to let my emotions out and turn it into something.
