Carry Me

Carry me swiftly into the night.
Rock my cradle and relieve me of fright.
Sing to me softly and sing to me sweet.
Be my breeze to cool me from the heat.
Blow me away and rescue me from harm.
Be my flame when I need to be kept warm.
Hold me when needed but then set me free.
If shade's my neccesity, be my leaves.
Hatred is useless, let love take it's flight.
And carry me swiftly into the night.
