A Fast Train

No need to stop and smell the roses
or take a walk and admire
the terrain -
all you need to do is step aboard
a fast train.
It isn't enough to change your look when
you feel your life going down the drain -
but you could bear all your troubles away
on a fast train.
You're tired of broken promises;
walking in circles through
wind and rain -
the world will look so much better
from inside a fast train.
