This is What I Do
I can put the night in his mare.
I can put the sweet in her dreams.
I can put the thunder in your storm.
I can do anything.
This is what I do.
I can put the rain in her bow.
I can take the sugar out of his sweets.
I can take the sun, and bury it in her backyard.
I can take the moon, and hide it in his pocket.
I can tell you all my secrets,
And make you promise not to tell.
If I frighten you, maybe its best you stay away from me.
I am different from who you might expect me to be.
If I intrigue you, then of course, you're welcome to stay.
The choice is yours.
But this is who I am.
Accept me, or don't.
And this is what I do.
