A Big Step In Life
A Big Step in Life
The hardest thing to do is bury your mom on your 15th birthday,
There so many things I wanted to say.
I think about things, wiping away that tear,
Reminding myself that you’re not here.
Thinking, your favorite color was blue,
Everyday I want to call you and tell you I love you.
I looked up to you,
Thinking you would be here everyday of my life.
I walked up to the casket, gave you a kiss
Thinking about it you’re the one I miss.
I remind myself that you’re not in pain,
Thinking, I shouldn’t go insane
You got to be strong!
The pain won’t be with you that long.
Knowing I’ll meet up with you some day
And I’ll have lots of stories to say!
