Mirror Image
As I look I see someone I can talk to.
Someone who is alone as well
Tears flow down cheeks like streams of water
Blue eyes and covering freckles
A girl who wants a friend
I talk to her
She talks back
She looks at me in a polite way as I look at her
She’s a person and so am I
She feels my pain an expresses it as I do
I’m happy for once
Her also
I made a friend
She did too
Something’s happening!
What’s wrong?
She shatters into pieces by an unknown force
I no longer see anyone
Alone again
Tears fill my heart
