Rain On The Street
Pit pat pit, hit the rain on the street, the clouds in the sky poured the rain to his feet, an old loon on the corner played a weary tune, his clothes gleaming wet by the light of the moon, and still the rain comes, pit, pat, pit."No more!" the loon sang on the side of the street, as the rain hailed down and drenching his feet, when suddenly, a man stuck his head out a door, he looked at the sky and begged "No more!" , "No more!" he yelled with a merciful shout, "the rain never goes and it wears me out", no it never goes away as the loon would say as he took out his harmonica, sang and played, "No rain!, no more!, no rain today!, not today, tomorrow or St. Patricks day! It's rained for four nights, thats three days straight, the floodings been emense a power so great!" "I will sing this tune by the light of the moon as the rain falls pit, pat, pit. "For this rains here to stay, to never go away, hear it now!" Pit,pat, pit.
