Things can happen when you don't pay attention
But can you really help yourself once it past?
That's the only possible answer to that question
You can't change time
When someone leads you to the wrong direction
You can't go back
When someone has hurt you
You can't have your way
Even if you try to
The feeling of bitterness hangs tight in your hand
As your happiness slips away like a grain of sand
You've abandoned yourself
And let go of your emotion
All of that in mind
Without any self-devotion
With no one to help you
You hide in solitude
With no one to help you
You had no attitude

I love the raw emotion of this poem. I can feel and understand exactly what you're feeling. Sometimes that's hard for a poet/writer to convey, but you did it perfectly. Very nice work! Check out some of my work, too if you'd like. Keep writing!
