Heart Broken.


And as my heart leapt up to my throat;

Feeling as worthless as a piece of gum, chewed up and

stuffed under a desk.

I didn’t know what to say as my best friend strained her

words to tell me the worst news I could’ve possibly heard at

the time.

“Umm, He Has... A girlfriend now.”

My heart fell into the pit of my stomach, knocking every

organ in my body out of place, making it harder than ever to

breathe.

I still love him, but the problem is;

I’m not sure how. How can I feel so much love for him when

I’ve never felt so heartbroken in my life?

And the truth is, I’m pretty sure that I’ll never know the

answer to that.
