my best friend
She was my best friend,
My right hand chick,
We knew each other like pooh knew honey,
But in a blink of an eye she was gone
Her eyes where no longer brown But candy red
Her face looked half dead most importantly she was half dead
How could this happened
She was a sweet innocent girl looking for a way out
How could one innocent green plant with red cheetah spots turn her into some half dead girl,
Who walk the halls with her head held high like there nothing wrong,
Yet everyone around her knows that everything’s wrong
Knows that she changed her life when she put that grape smelling blunt rolled up with green plants to her lips
She is the one that made me realize that every rose has its thorn
That every dark night has its sunny day
That every good person has there bad dark secret
I didn’t think she would just go…
Just leave me in this cold world alone
She was suppose to be there everyday of my life,
Every time I had a nightmare she was the one I called,
Now I just have memories in my head
Waiting to explode because I’m pushing against them
Pushing them back trying not to think about the times we played with barbies not by brushing their hair
But by pulling there heads apart
Laughing and giggling
Trying not to think about it about you
About the girl you use to be
I know a lot of people change
I just didn’t think I would stumble upon one specifically one of my best friend having a thorn growing out of her pretty red rose
I know now that every rose has its thorn
