One Significant Moment

By
It was a cold chilly morning
As I sat in the corner snoring
My dad sat very patiently
Waiting for the right moment to awake me

I was awaken to the thrill
There he stood so very still
He never once heard a sound.
And he stood like no one was around

As I propped taking deep breaths
I knew it was going to his last breath
As I waited for him to turn broad-side
My dad watched me starting to sigh

I very gently squeezed the trigger
I lost sight of his body figure
As I walked up to the deer
I know longer felt any fear
