They Scream In Silence

By
They Scream In Silence

They scream in silence
waiting for someone to hear them.
But only the believers can hear their
deafining screams. The screams speak of
hundreds of years of discrimination, of
family hurt and history.

I become a believer,
the screams speak to me like a preacher.
I hear the stories,
I feel the stories. They make me become a screamer,
preaching the pain.
