Who is this man,
This Martin Luther King,
Who marched on Washington,
And said, “I have a dream…”?
On that cool fall day,
He went up the stairs,
And looked at the people
Without any chairs.
He started his speech
With, “I have a dream,”
Then talked about people
To whom others were mean.
Although later that year,
He was tormented and shot,
His great words of wisdom
Will never be forgot.
