LIFE IN THE FAST LANE
You've been there when I needed a friend,
You've been there to catch my tears,
You've been there when I needed a shoulder,
You've been there through all these years.
You were there when I first saw Earth,
You were there for my first laugh,
You were there when I learned to walk,
You were there in all the photographs.
You're in all my memories,
Seeing you laugh and play.
You're there for me always,
Especially when skies are grey.
But the years went by,
And we grew older.
You left home for college,
So I lost that shoulder.
Facebook connected us,
As well as the phone.
Thanks for being my big sister,
You're the best I have known.
