These copious papers teachers have assigned
---Entices my skin to crawl with distasteful dread
For a question remains cold and bare in my mind
---Will they give me knowledge or gibberish instead?
My brain cannot comply with such a disgraceful system
---When learning becomes as vacant as hollow trees
And every weakened mind must now bring with them
---The sheepish whispering of a conforming breeze
But, these neglected souls do have the right of choice
---They can either take their stand or endeavor for longer
Or they can see through the incompetence and have a voice
---Thus, will make these bright souls so much stronger
