A Prosperous Life My Way

A prosperous life my way,
is what I dream today.
My dreams now, I do not want another
to come and smother.
Replacing my passion,
with something more to their fashion.
Like the pure white dove, I do not wish my likes
to be influenced by another’s tainted sights.
If my passions remain mine,
I also wish them to do me more than just fine.
Assuming the practice of my passion earns my pay,
it would be wondrous if it would allow me more than the gray.
I wish it to make my life full of color,
rather than full of another.
A prosperous life my way,
is what I dream today.
