The Sun

My friend the sun
Shines everyday
Brighter than the moon
Cooler than the stars
Brightens my day
Points me toward heaven
And never leads me astray
Our souls fit together like a glove
There's no competititon, only there's love
The spaces in between, the gaps I mean, are filled with happiness.
Tears of sadness, sorrow, and joy that wet my delicate cheek all dry away
When my friend, the sun,
Shines everyday, in every way.
