A Hearts Clock

I've been counting every hour
That I haven't seen your face
You are now the cause
Of every tear I waste

I hide it with fake laughter
A lie in every smile
Every second I wonder why
It's been such a long while

The weeks go crawling by
I long to hold you close
I'm starving for your love
And withering like a rose

It seems like forever
Yet I guess I'll wait
For I'll always want you
And that shall be my fate

I can definitely relate. I moved away from the guy I liked, and this poem reminds me exactly of how i feel

You have rapped in a perfectly worded pakage what so many others feel -including me- you have a way by taking sadness, but not making it depressing you make it a statement.

Another one to be proud of :D

Again, a wonderful piece. As I'm sure we all know, at some point in time, our hearts run out of patience and time, don't you agree? I believe figuartively, mine is coming to an end.
