Warmth Midwinter
Summer memories
Warm feelings touch my soul
Trying to regain comfort
To conceal what I cannot control
Sitting next to my tower
Who knew not what he held
In his palm laid my heart
Together our love excelled
Think of the warm days!
Before the dark night swiftly takes hold
Robbing me of daydreams
Nothing but cold truth left to behold
Grey uncertainty tumbles in
Unsure of anything
Lost without him
But here in this thick fog
A small bright light shines on
Guiding you back home
Bringing with you, a new dawn
Sail home safely
So our journey can begin
Till then I'll get by
With the memories warming from within
