I am lost in a shadow

as the world's light passes by,

I am floating Around in circles

as the current rushes west.

I am searching for a meaning

of this life before I die,

I am grasping for some answers

on this never-ending test.

I am yearning for the freedom

that I can't guess how to use,

I am following the star

that will lead me o'er the hill.

Which paths to the horizon

life holds for me to choose,

All I need to know is there

so I'm searching for it still.

For the shadows ever hide me

with no answers I'll remain,

Never seeing sunlight

on this lonely, dark terrain.
