I. She stands, still as the rose
If she is a rose, then he is her sun
She stands, still like the sun
If he is her sun, then she is his moon

II. She flies, fast as the eagle
If she is a rose, then he is her rain
She flies, fast like the rain
If he is her rain, then she is his cloud

III. She loves, deep as the sea
If she is a rose, then he is her earth
She loves, deep like the earth
If he is her earth, then she is his life

IV. She dreams, infinite as the stars
If she is a rose, then he is her light
She dreams, infinite like the light
If he is her light, then she is a star.

I wrote this for a school assignment, but the class liked it so much that I wanted to know what others thought of it.
