Keep the Light
Do you see that man?
Yes, him. The one without and inner light to shine through.
See his soot covered face,
His slumped posture?
That's from years in the mines.
That's from years of regret.
After years in that mine you 'll realize,
But by then it's too late.
Somewhere in that tunnel you'll travel too far.
You'll travel too far from life's road.
The mine becomes your life.
Then you'll spend your days in regret.
So don't throw away your life.
Embrace it. Don't igive it the chance to get away.
Take life and show them.
Show them what it's like to live.
Keep that light in your eyes.
It's the sign of life.
