You traded me in for them

You changed your style to be “cooler”
You changes your personality so they would accept you
You were scared to stand up for what was right
so you just sat and watched them do wrong
You stood in the back round when they pushed people around
But you took the blame for them

You were used by them
You were torn to pieces by them with out you knowing it
You may think I don’t know what I’m talking about
but I do
I have made the same mistake
and I regret everyday I lived of that life
