I Do Not Know You but I Do Love You
One minute your my dad;
The next you are your own.
What is the purpose of what you did?
Was it just you?
Or did I do something too?
I am unsure of this...
I am unsure of that...
Will I ever know?
One say will the truth speak to me?
Will I come to learn the secrets,
You forbid me from seeing?
Trips and fun times, I thought...
Behind it all you had your very own mall.
I love you but I do not know how to forgive you yet;
Please understand, you betrayed this family.
The deep tare, the shattered emotions, falling tears;
My anger upon you is like scum on a bathtub.
If you get it off, it will end up on you;
Like the pain you left on this family.
I do not know you; but I do love you, dad.
