Flicker, Flicker
It's a wonderful sight
To see the fireflies light up the night.
Summer is almost gone
Warm weather will fill the air
While we're at the county fair.
The precious sight of glowing light
Can be oh so bright.
Catch them in a glass in a jar
They can fly so very far.
Squish,
Squash,
Oh my gosh,
On the windshield,
Or stuck in the screen.
The light comes out all gooey and green.
Like a light show in the night,
While the fireflies take flight.
I hate to say goodbye
To the beautiful fireflies.
