I suppose free verse is the best kind,

But I prefer to flow and rhyme.

No complex themes to understand

Just something that flows from the hands.

Is it really plain to see?

Why is it not so clear to me?

I've tried and tried with all my might,

I guess I'll just give up the fight.

I just don't seem to comprehend

Why the poem has to end,

With a flowery verse for you

When the poem tells it true.
