   The time we'd spent together,

The years that we had played,

The days we had sat together

waiting for something to come our way.

You had patience with me; and

I with you,

And as I look back, the years

were too few.

Your long brown hair and big

hazel eyes and

That smile that dazzled every one

of the guys!

And now that you're gone,

To the big kingdom in the sky,

To whom will I run, to whom will

I cry?

My love for you will never cease,

For I know that you're in heaven at

peace.

My big sister, my best friend forever!!

This poem is dedicated to my sister, Amy. She was my best friend, "my Mimi" and she will always be! She died on August 9, 1990 as a result of injuries received in a car accident. I would like to remind people to drive responsibly and to always buckle up.
