   A beautiful call

Beckoning to me

A glorious sound

Honking words that seem so familiar

Going closer

The sound intensifying

That melodious sound

Singing human-like words to me alone

Before me

That harmonious creature

With its sweet sound

Still chanting its mysterious tune

Looking unto me

A look of innocence

Its adorable little face

Staring up at me with those big glaring eyes

Feathers ruffled

In its cute mustered way

Ruffled from a rough cleaning

Still, it all seems in place

A shock

An alarming look of shock

Surprising, unarming

Away, running away it goes

Flying up

Up into the clear blue sky

Up above me

Never to be seen again
